The application he’s using there is called Magic Piano. The iPad was given to him by the developers with the app loaded. It takes more to get it to work than just pressing anywhere. It places targets on the screen to press at the correct time – a la Guitar Hero.
@windingpath yeah dude… apart from the fact that hes playing notes in the bass and right hand which span two – three – four octaves apart at points with ONE HAND.

ITS A HOAX, he’s using a program called simule which plays the correct note every single time you touch the screen. That’s why some of the notes sound akward and he’s just keeping his hand in the same place.
