Everyone should have heard about the Apple iPad by now. For those who haven’t, the Apple iPad is a larger version of the iPhone with more capabilities. Just like the iPod and iPhone, when the product is first released it will immediately be sold out due to pre-ordering. The cool thing is, because the iPad is still in testing, Apple is looking for testers to help finalize the product. And, the cool thing is that you get to keep the iPad they send you at no cost! Read on to find out how.

How Can Apple Afford To Give Away iPads?

Well, first of all, they are Apple! Apple is a very large company and giving away some iPads for testing purposes will not hurt their pockets. As a matter of fact, giving away free products for testing actually serves a couple of purposes. First, you are actually testing the device and they use your feedback for quality control purposes. This saves them money. Secondly, this is really a very good marketing tactic. Apple knows that when they give you an iPad for free, you will be a customer for life. Not to mention the services they will now be able to offer you since you are an iPad owner. Also, third party sponsors help pay for the iPads through advertising.

Promotions such as these usually on occur when a new product is getting ready to hit the market or when companies decide they want to improve on current products. Due to the nature of these promotions, they do not last long. You’ve got your new Ipad and now you need stuff! Once you play a little bit you get bored and then start wondering why you spent all that money on your Ipad but here’s where the fun really begins if you know where to go.

I had just bought my new iPad 3G home from the Apple store, and played around with it for a few hours before I realised something. I was bored. It definitely had some cool features and everything, but all the multimedia I wanted to put on it from the App store and the iBookstore would cost me loads, and I simply couldn’t afford to spend $12 per book. I realised that without this multimedia, I simply couldn’t enjoy my Apple iPad to the fullest extent.

Then, after some Google searching, I discovered myPadMedia. It’s this new site which provides thousands of books, comic books, newspapers, games and more for the iPad. I must say, I was sceptical at first, but after reading some reviews, I went ahead and signed up for the site. Let me just say, this site delivers more than it promises. It’s not really an app or software, but a membership site which provides access to a whole huge database of downloads for the iPad. With a couple of clicks, I had the entire Harry Potter series on my iPad, without it costing me anything for each download! All you have to do is search what you want, select, and download! It is so easy, and so simple.

The range of downloads available is enormous. I’m a big fan of the X-Men comic book series and I am now able to download the latest issues to my iPad so I can read them when I’m on the way to work. I’m also now able to read my favourite newspaper The Times directly on my iPad in the morning. Pretty cool, huh? Not only does myPadMedia save me time, but it also saves me a ton of money. Why should I pay $12 per book, when I can download 10 books a day from myPadMedia without it costing me anything?

I’m a big fan of myPadMedia, and I strongly recommend it to all iPad users. My iPad is now filled with over 46 books, 52 comic books, and plenty more, and I can’t live without it!

It’s not long enough when I was one of those skeptics regarding offers such as free iPad, test and keep iPad, be an iPad Tester and the likes. My pessimistic thinking couldn’t just come up of reasons why companies could afford such expensive items to be just given away as freebies. I believe that the expensive price tag of this device is just one of the obvious sign that there could be no things such as free iPads, or iPads that can be taken for nothing.
